Stella Maris Parish (SMP) joyfully commemorated Palm Sunday on 28 and 29 March 2026, ushering in the solemn and sacred journey of Holy Week.

This significant celebration recalls the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, where He was welcomed by crowds waving palm branches and singing praises.

The blessed palms, carried and raised by the faithful, symbolise peace, victory and the recognition of Christ as King. Yet, beneath the jubilation lies a deeper reflection, one that calls believers to embrace humility, steadfast faith and the unfolding mystery of Christโ€™s passion.

Palm Sunday stands as both a moment of celebration and contemplation, inviting all to walk closely with Christ through the events that lead to His crucifixion and, ultimately, the glory of His resurrection.
